Shipping Policy — SAM AND SID GLOBAL

Last Updated: August 2026

SAM AND SID GLOBAL operates as an international merchant exporter supplying garments and PVC additives/materials to buyers in India and international markets. This Shipping Policy explains our general approach to order processing, shipment coordination and delivery.

1. International Shipping

We support international shipments based on the buyer’s requirements, product type, order quantity, destination and mutually agreed commercial terms.

Shipping arrangements may include:

  • FOB — Free On Board
  • CIF — Cost, Insurance & Freight
  • CNF/CFR — Cost & Freight

The applicable shipping terms will be confirmed in the quotation or commercial agreement.

2. Order Processing

After receiving and confirming an order, we coordinate sourcing/production, quality checks, packaging and export documentation as applicable.

The processing timeline depends on:

  • Product
  • Quantity
  • Customization requirements
  • Private-label requirements
  • Packaging requirements
  • Supplier availability
  • Buyer approvals

The estimated timeline will be communicated to the buyer before order confirmation.

3. Customized & Private-Label Orders

Customized garments may require additional processing time due to:

  • Custom labels
  • Logo printing
  • Hang tags
  • Custom packaging
  • Custom colours
  • Custom sizes
  • Retail-ready packaging

The expected production and shipment timeline will be agreed before production begins.

4. Shipping Documentation

Depending on the shipment and agreed terms, export documentation may include relevant commercial and shipping documents.

The buyer must provide accurate information required for documentation, customs clearance and delivery.

5. Customs, Duties & Taxes

Import duties, customs charges, destination-country taxes, clearance fees and other charges at the destination are generally the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Buyers are responsible for ensuring that the products comply with the import requirements of their destination country.

6. Freight & Shipping Charges

Shipping and freight costs depend on factors such as:

  • Destination
  • Shipment volume and weight
  • Product type
  • Shipping method
  • Current freight rates
  • Agreed Incoterms

Applicable shipping charges will be communicated as part of the quotation or commercial agreement.

7. Delivery Time

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on production, sourcing, documentation, customs procedures, vessel schedules, port conditions and other logistical factors.

We will make reasonable efforts to coordinate shipments according to the agreed schedule.

8. Shipment Delays

SAM AND SID GLOBAL will not be responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Customs delays
  • Port congestion
  • Shipping line delays
  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Strikes
  • Weather conditions
  • Political events
  • Transportation disruptions
  • Other unforeseen circumstances

Where possible, we will communicate significant shipment delays to the buyer.

9. Packaging

Products will be packaged according to the agreed product and shipment requirements.

For private-label orders, packaging may include:

  • Custom poly bags
  • Printed packaging
  • Hang tags
  • Woven labels
  • Carton branding
  • Barcode/retail-ready packaging

Specific packaging requirements must be confirmed before production.

10. Shipment Tracking

Where shipment tracking information is available, relevant details may be shared with the buyer after dispatch.

Tracking availability depends on the selected shipping method and logistics provider.

11. Damaged or Missing Goods

The buyer should inspect the shipment upon receipt.

If goods appear damaged or quantities are missing, the buyer should notify SAM AND SID GLOBAL as soon as reasonably possible and provide relevant documentation, photographs and shipment details where applicable.

Any claims will be handled according to the agreed commercial terms and applicable shipping/insurance arrangements.

12. Buyer Responsibilities

The buyer is responsible for providing accurate:

  • Delivery address
  • Contact information
  • Product requirements
  • Import information
  • Customs information
  • Documentation details

The buyer is also responsible for complying with applicable import regulations in the destination country unless otherwise agreed.

13. Shipping Confirmation

Final shipping arrangements, delivery terms, freight charges, estimated timelines and responsibilities will be confirmed in the applicable quotation, purchase order, invoice or commercial agreement.

Where there is a conflict between this general Shipping Policy and a specific written commercial agreement, the agreed commercial terms for that transaction will apply.
